From the Stores We've Worked With
Nurul Zahira
Boutique owner · Subang Jaya
"I was a bit unsure at first — I run a small fashion store and wasn't sure if this kind of thing was for bigger operations. The Suggestion Starter was exactly right for where we are. Ahmad explained everything clearly, and the summary document they gave us at the end is something I still refer back to."

Chew Teck Seng
E-commerce manager · Puchong
"We went with the Recommendation Setup for our home goods store. The configuration took about three and a half weeks, which matched what they said at the start. The training session was useful — our team actually knows how to adjust things now without needing to come back to them. One thing I'd note: come prepared with your data exports ready, it speeds things up."

Rajkumar Pillai
Online grocery operator · Shah Alam
"We run a grocery delivery operation across three categories and were finding our suggestion rows were producing odd combinations — cold drinks next to cleaning products, that kind of thing. Brindle Loom sorted out the logic so it actually makes sense now. We're using the Personalisation Programme and the quarterly reviews have caught a few things that drifted after we added new stock."

Sarah Wong
Beauty brand founder · Petaling Jaya
"We sell skincare and the suggestion logic needed to understand things like skin type compatibility, not just 'people who bought this also bought that.' Siti took the time to understand our catalogue properly before configuring anything. That part made a real difference to how the suggestions came out."

Mohd Ariff
Outdoor equipment retailer · Klang
"Straightforward experience. Started with the Starter to see if it was worth pursuing further, and then moved to the full Setup a couple of months later. They were consistent through both — same people, same approach. The written documents from each engagement were actually useful, which isn't always the case."

Lim Kai Xin
Stationery shop owner · Ampang
"I appreciated that they were honest about what the Starter could and couldn't do. There was no pressure to upgrade. For us, the pilot view was a good test of the concept and it led us to decide to go ahead with the full Setup six weeks later. Small thing, but they responded to messages on the same day."

How It Played Out in Practice
Home Décor Store · Shah Alam
An established home décor retailer had suggestion rows on their site but they were producing irrelevant pairings — cushions next to curtain rods, candles next to storage boxes — because the default logic only looked at co-purchase frequency without understanding product categories.
We reviewed their catalogue (around 450 products across 8 categories) and rebuilt the suggestion logic using category relationships and seasonal patterns from two years of order history. We separated room-type contexts so bedroom suggestions stayed in bedroom territory. Three-week engagement.
Suggestion row click-through improved noticeably within six weeks of the new configuration going live. More importantly, the store team now understands the logic and adjusted it themselves when they added a new outdoor furniture category in March.
"The difference is that it now suggests things that actually go together." — Store owner
Sports Equipment Retailer · Subang
A sports retailer had never set up product suggestions at all. They wanted to explore whether it was worth the effort before committing to a full implementation, but didn't have technical staff to evaluate it independently.
We ran the Suggestion Starter — reviewed a catalogue sample of 180 products and set up a pilot view on their badminton equipment category, which was their highest-traffic section. Delivered a plain-language summary explaining exactly how the suggestions were formed and what conditions would cause them to change.
The client was comfortable enough with the results to proceed with the full Recommendation Setup for their remaining categories. They mentioned that the written summary from the Starter was the thing that helped them make that decision — they could see exactly what they were getting.
"Starting small made it easy to say yes to the bigger setup." — Merchandising manager
Multi-Brand Fashion Group · PJ
A fashion group managing three storefronts under different brand names needed suggestions configured independently for each brand — different price points, different target customers — without cross-brand suggestions appearing.
Configured each storefront separately under the Personalisation Programme. Set up brand-level boundaries so suggestions remained within each brand's catalogue. Ran an initial relevance review after eight weeks when their seasonal stock changed substantially, and updated configurations accordingly.
Ongoing arrangement with quarterly reviews scheduled. The group's in-house team manages day-to-day using the maintenance guide we provided; reviews are used for structural changes when new categories are added or product lines are retired.
"The review cycles are the part we didn't expect to find as useful as we do." — Digital operations lead
